Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Health Technician to join our friendly and supportive team.

Applications are welcomed from experienced Occupational Health Technicians as well as candidates with relevant healthcare experience who are looking to train and develop within Occupational Health.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Technician, you will play a key role in delivering health surveillance and occupational health screening services at client sites throughout the UK.

This role is primarily field-based and involves regular travel to client sites. Occasional overnight stays will be required, with all accommodation and reasonable expenses paid by the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting workplace health surveillance and screening including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, blood pressure monitoring, BMI assessments, drug and alcohol testing and urinalysis.
  • Assisting with workplace health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Accurately recording clinical information using electronic systems.
  • Preparing and maintaining medical equipment.
  • Supporting Occupational Health Nurses and Advisors.
  • Travelling to client sites throughout the UK.
  • Working in accordance with GDPR and company procedures.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
  • Good IT and computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away overnight when required.
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician.
  • Experience working within Occupational Health.
  • Experience carrying out health surveillance activities.
  • Phlebotomy and/or vaccination experience.
  • Experience using electronic medical record systems.

Trainee Occupational Health Technician Applicants
