Specialist Occupational Health Services

What we do

We provide a range of Occupational Health Services for employees, using years of expertise to deliver professional assessments on the health and wellbeing of your workforce. Occupational Health is a branch of healthcare that looks after the safety and wellness of the working population, for businesses across a number of industries. We help to ensure your staff stays safe in the workplace, saving your business time and money.

DB Occupational Health works with employers and management to reduce health and safety risks, ensuring that employees can be productive – without any health or safety risks.

What we offer

We offer a Health Assessment Advisory Service to suggest reasonable adjustments that help employees back to work after or during illness.

We also carry out health assessments to help employers comply with Health and Safety Executive legislation. This includes;

  • Audiometry – Hearing testing in areas with high noise levels; anything greater than 85 dB warrants mandatory protection.
  • Lung function testing – For those who are exposed to chemicals, dust and fumes.
  • Face fit testing – Ensuring the correct type of mask is worn and the fit of the mask is suitable. Important for work environments that contain fumes, dusts and chemicals.
  • Drug Testing – Performed in the workplace for minimal disruption, with quick and accurate results. Results can be confirmed in our lab for even greater accuracy and detail.
  • Alcohol Testing – Quick and reliable results performed on site for your convenience. Again, with the option to get more in-depth results from our lab.
  • Health assessments for Forklift operators and drivers of company vehicles.
  • Driver Medicals – For Forklift operators and those responsible for company vehicles.
  • Biological Monitoring – Blood and urine testing is a very efficient and accurate method for testing for any discrepancies, for example, testing for lead and Isocyanates.
  • Health and wellbeing programmes – to maintain the health of your employees ensuring they can stay at work without risk.

Your employees are your most valued and expensive assets. Let us help you to keep your employees healthy, productive and at work.
